This year on Sunday 2nd June the Classic Car Run will be taking place in Brighton. The event kicks off at Greenwich Park meridian line before the cars make their journey towards Brighton. There is plenty of time to explore the area around Greenwich before the Union Flag is waved at the start of the event too.
There is an array of historical stopping points along the way including Chiddingstone Castle, which comprises of thirty-five acres of Kentish countryside. If you are lucky enough to enter, you will have VIP parking on the lawns and entrance to the first stopping point, so you can have time to explore the finest collections in Western Europe.
When you reach the finishing line on Madeira Drive in Brighton, you will be greeted by the friendly event commentator. As you soak in the vibrant atmosphere and the stunning view of the pier, you can use the rest of the day to explore Brighton and enjoy the much-anticipated awards ceremony. Awards will be given out fro best-dressed participants, most extended distance travels and many other special prizes which will be announced on the day.
