An iconic band Simple Minds will be performing at the Brighton Centre on Tuesday 16th of February. Doors will open from 6:30 pm, and the show starts from 7:30 pm.
Simple Minds celebrate 40 notable years in music by setting out upon a significant world visit in 2020. Simple Minds are fronted by organizer individuals Jim Kerr (vocals) and Charlie Burchill (guitar).
Simple Minds have encountered a momentous journey since releasing their debut album 'Life in a Day' in 1979. Continually advancing, the band's animating melodies and blasting atmospherics made them one of the most notable groups of the Eighties. Along the way, they've landed five UK #1 albums, beat the singles charts on the both sides of the Atlantic, sold more than 60 million albums and packed arenas the world over.
Simple Minds are different now,” says Jim Kerr. “We’re not a stock rock band, but we haven’t changed our line-up to be cool. We’ve done it because it’s great to have so many amazing players on board. I’m grateful for the career we’ve had, but I’m mad enough to think we can still hit new levels. This is what we do – write, record and play live.”
