Description
Start your day at London Bridge station, where you will meet your guide and board the train to Brighton with your pre-booked return tickets. Upon arrival, transfer to a comfortable 16-seat minibus for your South Downs journey.
Your first stop is Devil's Dyke, an ancient valley with panoramic views over the lowland weald. Your guide explains the natural formation of the landscape and the origins of the Devil's Dyke name.
Next, visit Middle Farm, a local producer offering Sussex cheeses, sparkling wines, and cider. Here, you can purchase refreshments, or enjoy light meals and drinks at the tea rooms. If Middle Farm is busy, lunch will be served in nearby Alfriston.
Continue along quiet country lanes to Seven Sisters Country Park. You will briefly stop to view the Longman of Wilmington, a Neolithic carving on the hillside.
Proceed to Beachy Head for a guided walk along the chalk cliffs, followed by a visit to Birling Gap to observe coastal erosion in progress.
The final stop is Seaford Head, where your guide will lead a 40-minute walk on country paths, providing the best views of the Seven Sisters cliffs.
After the walk, return by minibus to Brighton to catch your train back to central London.
