Description

Begin your flight at Redhill Airfield, boarding a modern helicopter for take-off towards Gatwick Airport. Pass directly over the terminals and taxiways of London’s second-largest airport while your pilot provides live commentary.

Follow the Brighton mainline to see the Ouse Valley Viaduct, a 450-metre railway bridge built in 1842 with 11 million bricks. Continue south over Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, and the South Downs to Shoreham and the South Coast.

Fly along the beach eastwards towards Brighton to view the remains of the Brighton West Pier and the refurbished Brighton East Pier with its funfair. Pass over Brighton Marina and, further east, the Newhaven Ferry port. Capture views of the coastline as you approach the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head with its famous lighthouse.

Continue to Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour, then turn north flying past Halsham and Crowborough near Ashdown Forest. Approaching Edenbridge, turn west along the North Downs, enjoying views of the London skyline before returning to Redhill Airfield for landing and photo opportunities.
