Description

You will be picked up from your hotel or Airbnb in Brighton and driven across the South Downs to Albourne Estate. En route, enjoy panoramic views of Brighton, the sea, and rolling Sussex countryside, including a stop at Devils Dyke where your guide explains its unique landscape. In 1825, the artist John Constable described this location as “the grandest view in the world.”

At Albourne Estate, participate in a guided tasting of five award-winning English wines produced sustainably on the estate. Your host will share details on the vineyard’s winemaking process and how the Sussex terroir influences their wines. After tasting, you can purchase additional wine, local cheese, and charcuterie to enjoy on the estate’s south-facing balcony overlooking the vineyard and South Downs.

Optionally, take a free self-guided tour of the vineyard trail using provided maps and guides. The tour is flexible and can include a lunch stop at a traditional local pub either before or after the tasting.
