Purezza is the first vegan pizzeria in the UK based in Brighton. The restaurant serves plant-based versions of classic Italian meals. The restaurant’s aim is ‘to make the plant-based menu superior to the traditional alternatives.
Pizza creation is based on a traditional family recipe with a twist. The dough is made fresh daily using a type two flour which is much healthier and matured for 48 hours before used for cooking. Another option is a dough from hemp flour, which is an even healthier alternative.
Cheese is tastier than traditional mozzarella, developed for over two years by using Italian brown rice. It also has more than half the calories and fat than the traditional mozzarella.
The restaurant’s dishes aren’t only dairy and meat-free but also offer gluten-free options. Their wide range of gluten-free option includes gluten-free sourdough pizzas, delicious raw food choices and creamy pasta dishes.
