Second Nature offers outdoor learning and bushcraft experiences for kids of all ages. You can create your forest, field and wilderness skills. Children can go for a bat walk and talk to the owls. Discover how to track animals, the names of the trees and birds.
Take part in the John Muir Awards scheme with your family, youth group or school and stay at Blackberry Woods Campsite. The campsite offers workshops and activities in the stunning South Down National Park and camping or glamping in the magnificent Higgledy and Piggledy Treehouses. Activities and workshops are available from the start of the Easter holiday until late autumn. You can choose from these activities camouflage, stealth games, animal tracking, den building, fire skills, nature walks (plus Bat and Owl Prowl night walks).
A birthday party can be arranged in the large woodland site at Stanmer Park, Brighton. There’s a fire pit area with log seating, compost toilet, rope swing and wildlife pond.
