iO Gallery Local is a stunning local shop to buy unique souvenirs from your trip to Brighton. The gallery represents various artist with a spectrum of practices. It was established in 1997, and it’s showcasing an eclectic and contemporary range of art & craft, which is produced by local artists and designer-makers. The artwork is ranging from print and paintings to ceramics, glass wear and jewellery.
iO Gallery has been helping local artists and designers to promote and sell their work for over 15 years. The gallery believes in fair trade and eco-friendly work, representing the artists as ecological as possible. Over one hundred artists are showcasing at the gallery, and their pieces are available to buy in-store or online. The gallery organises exhibitions and introduces new artwork regularly. The iO Gallery is open seven days per week, Monday to Saturday from 10 am till 6 pm and on Sunday from 11 am till 5 pm.
