DOWSE is the design company of Susannah Dowse, offering a commitment to making carefully and thoughtfully designed jewellery and lifestyle products. The Brighton shop features the DOWSE range alongside other great independent small businesses and designers. The range is excellent quality and offers innovative and affordable design-led gifts, art prints, jewellery and homewares. DOWSE believes that beauty is an object that comes in part from how it’s made and by whom.
The shop welcomes submissions from other designers as well. If you’re interested in submitting your designs, please contact the shop directly.
The shop previously collaborated with the Design Museum on an exclusive line of jewellery to accompany an exhibition of architect Louis Kahn. Other collaborations were for example with embroidery artist Nook of the North and ceramicist Liam Owen.
Online delivery is available; orders usually are dispatched within 2-3 working days. Jewellery & small orders are sent by Royal Mail, and larger items are sent by courier within the UK.
