BK Kayaking offers:
Introduction & Short Trip
This is a three hours course which will introduce you to all sea kayaking basics—a complete beginner course or a refresher for those who already have some kayaking experiences. You will learn forward and reverse paddling, turning, stopping, draw stroke and low brace. Other skills will involve capsizing and exiting your boat on land and water: Eskimo rescue and X rescue. No introduction session will be identical. Upon completion of this course, you can start the BCU 1 star training or join one of the advanced coastal trips.Intermediate Sea Kayaking
This course is developed for paddlers who want to improve their all-around kayak handling skills, practical seamanship and rough water techniques. You will learn leadership skills, rescue, towing, safety and rolling procedures in various sea conditions.BCU 1, 2, 3 Star
B.C.U. Star training and assessments are available to measure your personal development as a paddler. These tests are also a prerequisite of anyone wishing to become a coach.Sea Kayaking Trips
Sea trips are organised along the Seven Sisters, Isle of Wight, impressive Jurassic coast of Dorset and stunning Pembrokeshire coast. If you are more adventurous, you will enjoy a trip to the Atlantic coast of Spain and Portugal. These trips last from one day to one week.Stag & Hen Groups
Come to enjoy your stag or hen party with BK introductory sessions and coastal trips & games, fishing and serious surf sessions. You can paddle down the river Ouse at Cuckmere Haven and along the Beachy Head taking time to BBQ. Fish caught on the route. All sessions can be tailored to your wishes and can include trekking, snorkelling, mountain biking, abseiling, horse riding, camping and fishing.-
