The Hideaway Brighton

At a glance
The Hideaway is a private spa and bar at 197 Preston Road in Preston, arranged as a calm retreat for heat, water, massage and quiet drinks. The venue combines a renewed historic setting with warm, understated interiors, creating a place suited to restorative time away from the pace of the city.
The spa experience centres on exclusive use of a private suite. Each suite includes a sauna, a thermal pool and spaces for resting, allowing guests to move between heat, water and relaxation at an unhurried pace. The experience also includes a tailored therapeutic massage, giving the visit a clear focus on physical ease and recovery.
Massage treatments follow the Jing Method™ of advanced clinical massage. The approach brings together techniques associated with Eastern and Western bodywork, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, acupressure and assisted stretching. Practitioners take an individual approach, adapting treatment to specific concerns or to a more general need for rest and relaxation.
Two private spa rooms provide different atmospheres. Olive has an earthy, grounding character, with natural textures and a connection to the courtyard. Neroli is lighter and more open, with natural light from above and an uplifting feel. Both rooms are designed as quiet spaces apart from the public areas.
The bar is open to the public and offers a peaceful place for conversation or a drink before returning to the outside world. Its selection includes local wines, craft beers, botanical ferments, specialty juices and teas. The bar does not compete with the spa for attention, instead extending the same gentle, considered mood into a more social setting.
The Hideaway suits spa days built around privacy and personal space, as well as shorter visits centred on a drink in a tranquil setting. Gift cards are available, and spa availability, prices and enquiries can be handled through the venue directly.
