Square Townhouse

Square Townhouse is a boutique hotel in Brighton’s Kemptown, set at 4 New Steine in a traditional townhouse setting. Its character comes from a combination of distinctive decor, comfortable accommodation and attentive details designed for a more considered stay. Rooms and suites provide the main focus, with the property offering a choice of spaces for short breaks, celebrations and other visits to the city.

The hotel’s food offering centres on breakfast, served in stylish surroundings at an unhurried pace. Fresh coffee, warm pastries and cooked-to-order breakfast classics give mornings a straightforward, well-presented feel. The lounge bar provides an indoor setting for drinks and relaxed time at the property, complementing the quieter atmosphere of the guest accommodation.

Square Townhouse also offers wellness and beauty treatments for hotel guests. Services include massages, hair and makeup appointments, with treatments available in a guest room or in a dedicated pamper room. These facilities add a practical sense of comfort for visitors arranging a restorative break, preparing for an event or simply spending more time at the hotel.

The townhouse can accommodate private occasions including small weddings, celebrations, business meetings and dinner parties. Event planning is handled around the requirements of each occasion rather than through a fixed format, making the venue suited to intimate gatherings that benefit from a residential setting and personal organisation.

Small dogs are welcome, provided the hotel receives advance notice. This makes Square Townhouse a useful option for guests who want to include a pet in a Kemptown stay. Overall, the property suits visitors looking for boutique accommodation with a distinctive interior, an in-house lounge bar, a relaxed breakfast service and optional wellness treatments, as well as those arranging a private gathering in a townhouse environment.
