What is Brightona?
Brightona started at Brighton Marina in 2004. Nowadays it’s one of the biggest charity motorcycle events in the south of England.
Thanks to lots of support and fundraising from this event for the last couple of years the charity purchased Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) and placed them in many biker related locations. These AED’s are available at a club building or at a site where bikers meet.
AED’s are easy to use, have a computer inside which analyses the heart rhythm and check if a shock is required to save the victim. Around 30,000 people in the UK suffer from sudden cardiac arrest – when the heart stops beating suddenly. It can happen to anyone, at any time without warning. AED’s save lives.
When and where is Brightona 2019?
Sunday 13th of October from 9 am till 5 pm at Madeira Drive Brighton.
