Workshop & Activities at Wakehurst
Cookery, Carving and Hairy Toes workshop
Date and time: 28 October – 1 November, 11 am – 2 pm
Location: The Oaks, Wakehurst
Suitable for ages 5+
Enjoy with your children cooking a delicious squash soup over an open-fire with twister bread to dunk in. Then you can carve a squash lantern and settle down to listening to a magical a Hairy Toes story.
An adult must accompany children up to age 16.
Price for this workshop is £15 per child; the ticket includes a day ticket to Wakehurst for both one adult and one child.
Explorer Rucksacks
Date: 26 October – 03 November
Location: You rucksack will be available for collection at the Visitor Centre
Price: £4
Choose from these three packs of adventure:
- Nature explorer (under 6’s) – Your kids can get creative and unleash their inner explorer with the artistic and nature spotting challenges.
- Discovery Explorer (6-8’s) – Exploring the world’s mini-beasts.
- Expedition explorer (8+) – Children will take the seasonal challenge with a checklist of nature to spot in the gardens.
