The Open Market features over 45 permanent independent retail units, 12 artists’ studios and a mix of plaza traders. It’s the place where traditional and contemporary market traders showcase their products and services.
For instance, the Open Market has cafes, clothing, local produce, toys, art, music, live music, workshops, outreach events for the local community. The market is home to Radio Reverb as well.

Some of the traders showcasing in the Open Market are Real Patisserie, Pets Pantry, Market Florist, The Flying Saucer Cafe, Brighton Apothecary, Pine and Oak Shop, Gnarly Trunk, Spice of Life, Rainbow Organic Chocolates and many others. Many events are organised during the year such as Brighton Preloved Vintage Kilo, on Sunday 9th of June and Brighton Coffee Festival - On Sale Now!, on Sunday 11th of August. Car parking is available 3 minutes away at London Road car park - Providence Place, Brighton BN1 4GE.
