Horsham is situated in the West Sussex county, just seven miles south-west from Crawley, and 33 miles south of London. The town lies four miles south of the Surrey border. It's in the RH12 postcode district.

Horsham is under 30 minutes by car to Crawley and Gatwick, making it easily reachable via A24, A29 and M23 link Horsham to London and the south coast. There are many bus connections available from the centre of town and around surrounding areas.

Things to do in Horsham

 
Horsham offers many things to do for every age group. It's always very easy to find a yoga teacher, a massage therapist or a reading club. The town has cricket, football, rugby, running and martial arts. There are also a few gyms to join; the biggest is Pavillions in the Park that is part of the DC leisure group that has centres at many locations in Sussex.
 
Horsham Superbowl is fantastic fun for the whole family where you can make use of a bowling alley or try the hand at Laser Quest, a fog and obstacle-filled arena where the aim is to 'shoot' the opposition team with a painless laser gun.

Horsham's Capital centre is a popular place to see films, shows, exhibitions and pantomimes. The centre is conveniently located between the town centre and train station.

Swan Walk shopping centre offers numerous high street stores and independently owned art galleries, jewellery, clothes stores and more. You can also find a large Dunelm Home Store, John Lewis at Home with a separate, large Waitrose.
 
The town has got two markets on Thursday and Saturday from 9 am till 5 pm. The Carfax is filled with stalls selling local food and produce, crafts, arts, plants and flowers.
 
Outside the town is a retail park in the Broadbridge Heath area, a larger retail park where you'll find Halfords, Homebase and Carpet Right.

Most restaurants in the town centre are popular chains such as Cote, Wagamama, Ask, Nandos, Pizza Express and Giggling Squid. You can also find here a Japanese bar and restaurant called Wabi and a few cafes and sandwich shops.
 
On the London road, you can find two magnificent curry houses, Darchini's and the New Curry Centre. Within a short walking distance are further Indian, Italian, Chinese and fusion restaurants including Sanmae, which offers food from all over Asia.
 
Between the Carfax and Piries Place is a small bar Piries Bar great for catching up with friends. Next door is B52's, a late-night cocktail bar. The outskirt of Horsham has got many pubs to suit everybody for any occasion.
